What a wonderful giveaway. I would love to have SJ227A - Storm Series I by St. John for my home. It's so serene and "eternal" (despite it's title), and I also love the blues together with the greens.

Gratitude for bfinging this great company to light.
Love the abstracts, the Caroline Ashton you chose but I'd to go with Reverie I by Leslie Sans...for my mom. She's been my nurse maid while I recover from achilles surgery & would go crazy for it. I'd hang it over her desk & say not a word......

Wow what a great idea, it was so much fun to browse by colour and style.

I love the pale blue art on the divider wall on your post, it has captivated me, even though I have no blue in my home. (that would be my 1st choice if available)

It was hard to pick a 2nd favourite but I have gone with LG144A - Spring Silhouettes III. The simple style on red is divine.
Thank you for showcasing this great website.

This was harder than I would have expected! My favorite is Rapid Transit I; Code: JA244A. The colors are beautiful!

So many great options! thanks for introducing this site. My favorite (for now!) would have to be Serenity III by Caroline Ashton. It has such a moody feel... but then also calming. The light contrasted with the deeper blues is amazing!

Wow...so many of these are wonderful! I specially loved Sienna Lee's "Calm" and "Stillness." Powerful use of color without being overwhelming - makes me feel like I"m out in the meadow. Also really enjoyed Kim Coulter's "Autumn Day" and "Autumn Day II". I just had a baby and these painting remind me (without being cheesy!) at how satisfied and at peace I feel now as a woman. Good stuff.

How fabulous is this? I know that you shouldn't buy the art to match the sofa but this is the only way to do it these days.

Love the Pantone color chart and how it takes the work out of looking at all the possibilities. This is almost too good to tell anyone about.

For a project I am working on I picked the colors I am using and then waited for the perfect art choices. And they were just the best!

To keep the sanity in this home with all the computers, tv's and chaos I have chosen this piece to keep this family grounded.

Miami Beach AK101P

Thanks to the Design Bloggers out there that get the word out about these great new work tools.

I love Lemons by Allyson Krowitz (code AK103A). My husband and I just bought our first house, and I think Lemons would be perfect in our dining room... hanging behind turquoise leather/nailhead-trimed/ delicious dining room chairs (just gifted from my mother-in-law) and with a view into our living room with the big fat ottoman I just had re-upholstered in avocado. Not only are the piece's colors perfect, but the mood is perfect for such a central room: fresh and bright like a lemon itself, hinting at flavorful meals w/o being too on the nose about it.

Great source and a fun way to shop for art. I got a little carried away with the Pantone color selector... what a clever way to shop for art. My two favorites (so far): Nature Revisited I and Lucky in Love II.
Thanks for the link! I'll definitely consider this source for clients.

DESIGN said...

I am thrilled to learn of this company, they seem to have it all. The use of the Pantone colors will make my clients so much more comfortable with ordering. I wish many more design sources would use the Pantones as a base for discussion. After all that, my favorite place to be this morning is in "Zen Moment" #MJ118P one of the black and white photos.

Tee said...

I went straight to the black & whites. Love Melrose Avenue, Pick Up Stix, and Skylight Austin. I've built a small collection in the last couple years of b/w architecture photos - Charleston cemetery gates and post office doors, New York subway ceilings, etc. These would be a great addition. Might have to buy anyway if I don't win.

I came over from Cote de Texas. You have a lovely blog!

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to win this giveaway. After perusing all of the artists and categories, I have fallen in love with Danny Grant. I like his clean style. It reminds me of the Wyeths. The piece I love best is entitled Still Life XII. The number is DG112A.

I love the play of light on the glass and water in the bottle. And I'm intrigued by the shape of the bottle itself. It has an almost abstract quality. Add the pop of blue, and I am immediately transported to Greece. That's a shade of blue I associate with that country. And what is water without a lime or lemon for added flavor?

One of the things I love best about still lives of food is that food was often (and still probably is often) on the minds of artists, as making your way through life with a brush can be a difficult journey at best. If anyone knows and appreciates their "daily bread" or in this case bottled water, it is an artist.

The water also reminds me of the fact that as a Floridian, we are surrounded by water (fresh and salt). That fact plus the blue and green colors speak Florida to me. Water is precious here, and we guard it carefully. But the painting also has a universal appeal, and that is what makes it timeless in my eyes. That bottle could easily be on a table in nineteenth century Paris with a group of the Impressionists sitting around it.

And the final reason I would like this painting is because I am a magpie and love shiny objects. This painting definitely qualifies as shiny! ;-)

Gratefully,

Sheila

I love Cascade II by Maeve Harris. It is calming and intriguing, and has enough color to build an entire room around it. You can pull out some of the blues and reds and use them as accent colors, but use an-off white wall and lots of light colored linens. It pops, but doesn't overpower.
